Day 5 Ormond to Fernandina

What a beautiful morning in Ormond Beach, bright sunny skies nice breeze
and a little sailboat race to Tybee Island.

We had a rough start this morning, but the boats all got out with out any
damage. After hitting a bad set of waves, Jay had to jump off the boat
and push the bow over. He quickly jumped back on the boat and they were
able to ride out the next few waves and get out of the surf. Getting
bounced back like that can snap a rudder clean off, but they got through
with no damage. Castrol was the first team to get a spinaker up. Around 1:30 Team Castrol was spotted about 2 minutes behind Tybee.

Beach Update: The boats have landed! It's a really tight race between Tybee and Castrol. Tybee landed first, and three minutes later the hulls of the Castrol boat hit the Fernandina Beach sand. In 3rd place was Semp Toshiba. Castrol now leads the pack by 6 minutes, but that could change with one gust of wind.

DRIVE HARD!
